NEW YORK BREAST IMAGING SOCIETY

New York Breast Imaging Society

Historical Review

Background

NYBIS is a non-profit professional radiologic organization committed to providing a forum for the discussion of current and evolving practices and techniques in breast imaging. Our membership includes, but is not limited to, radiologists and technologists who have an interest in and/or practice breast imaging. We conduct formal lectures during each academic year (Tuesday evenings, September to May) through which we aim to educate and update practicing physicians, technologists, and radiology trainees.

For paid NYBIS members, each meeting qualifies for 2 hours of Category 1 CME credit for physicians and 2 hours of Category A CE credit for technologists. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the ACCME and, through joint sponsorship, the ASRT.
